Week 6 - Conduct Financial Transactions and Provide Services to Clients

Hi Retail Students!

I would like to use this blog site for students who have missed a class to catch-up. Please make a habit of checking the site for revision and additional information! I would encourage you to make comments and share your information as well!

What Happened in Week Six?
  • Make sure you have been trained in Shortcuts for the Provide Services role-plays and Conduct Financial Transactions. The last chance to do this is next week's classes.
  • Make sure your retail teacher has signed your Skills Passport for any practices you had during training. You can get the Flex Room teacher to sign if you go in for extra practice.
  • Students have been working on the Balance Register/Terminal on the Retail Toolbox (the link is in the Links Menu under Conduct Financial Transactions.

See you soon,

Nicki

NICKI.
When assesment for the roleplay, can you asses two person in one time.Cause we are nervous when a lot of people staring at us.
besides in the reality, we only talk to one client at the time, not a bunch of people, right.
Is it make sense!!!!!!.
Also we can have the exact time, when our turn to get assesed, by not waiting other people.

Yes lots of people have this feeling - it is only natural to be a bit scared. Remember though that there will be lots of people in the salon at times as well (including your boss!) I am hoping that all the computers will have shortcuts so you will not have to wait. There will be other work for you to complete on the day so you will not be waiting around. Please log and get a blogger account so I can see who it is! Nicki
